The Ph.D. defense seminar of Dr. K.V.V. Satyannarayana was successfully conducted on 31st July 2023 for the thesis titled “Indigenous Bentonite-Based Tubular Ceramic Microfiltration Membrane: Elaboration, Characterization, and Application in Clarifying Citrus Fruit Juices.” The research work, carried out on a full-time basis from June 2019, focuses on the development of low-cost tubular ceramic membranes and their application in fruit juice clarification. The study demonstrates effective removal of suspended impurities while preserving the quality and nutritional attributes of citrus juices, contributing to sustainable and efficient processing in the food industry.
