Front Cover Selection in ACS Journal Chem & Bio Engineering, 2026

The artwork developed within the scope of the article “Microfiltration of Selective Polysaccharides Using Inexpensive Fuller’s Earth-Based Ceramic Membranes” has been selected as the front cover of an upcoming issue of Chem & Bio Engineering, published by the American Chemical Society. Authored by Maddala Sree Kanth, Gourhari Chakraborty, Vijaykumar Sudarshana Deepa, Selvam Karuppasamy, and Dr. Vinoth Kumar Raja, the study presents a novel microfiltration approach for selective separation of polysaccharides using an indigenously developed low-cost ceramic membrane derived from Fuller’s earth. The work demonstrates effective retention of polysaccharides while allowing smaller sugars to permeate, along with insights into membrane fouling behavior, contributing to the development of sustainable and cost-effective separation technologies.
